The Japanese Company of Lixil with its universally-known trademarks of INAX, Tostem and Sun Wave is planning to invest more than US$ 410 million to build a plant in Dong Nai Province, according to local officials.
Officials at the Dong Nai Investment and Planning Department said that they were studying the company’s investment file and dealing with the procedures to early grant investment license to the Japanese Company.
Under the project, the Japanese Company will invest some US$ 414 million in the construction of a plant, which will be divided into two phase. The first phase is planned to be finished in 2 years of construction.
After the first phase, the plant will start its production of building materials, devices for interior designs and office-home decorations, which will then be exported to foreign markets, according to the investors.
However, the investors said that they will also survey the needs for such products of the domestic market to readjust the investment in the second phase.
