About 200 interior-design works by businesses, producers and artisans across the country have been selected to compete for the 2007 Golden-V Prize since it was first mobilised 7 months ago.

This is the 4th annual event held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). It aims to promote the Vietnamese interior design industry and encourage businesses and partisans to create more beautiful and unique products for export.

According to VCCI, a grand ceremony to present different prizes to 16 best works will officially be organised on January 23.

Especially, the organising board has invited international interior design importers to join Vietnamese experts on the examining board of the competition.

VCCI said that the addition of foreign examiners will help domestic producers further approach the tastes of their international customers as well as provide further understanding about Vietnamese culture and arts for international importers.
