Viettel beats Hong Linh Ha Tinh FC in first round of 2020 V-League
PANO – The Viettel Football Club started its 2020 V-League season with a 1-0 victory over Hong Linh Ha Tinh FC on March 8.

Viettel has added some new and intriguing players before the start of the new season such as midfielder Khac Ngoc and goalkeeper Nguyen Manh. This year, the club is still coached by Truong Viet Hoang, a talent coach coming from Hai Phong FC. Meanwhile, Hong Linh Ha Tinh FC is a newbie and their weakness is obviously a lack of experience.
The Viettel team controlled the ball for most of the first half and created many scoring chances in front of Hong Linh Ha Tinh FC’s goal.
In the 87th minute, Viet Phong scored the only goal of the match after a pass from Khac Ngoc. The remaining time was not enough for Hong Linh Ha Tinh FC to make a comeback.
The match ended with three points for Truong Viet Hoang’s man. Viettel’s next match will be against Hoang Anh Gia Lai FC on March 15.
