Defending Hanoi FC wins Bamboo Airways National Cup 2020
PANO - Midfielder Quang Hai’s late super volley helped his Hanoi FC make a spectacular comeback, defeating Viettel FC 2-1 and successfully defending their Bamboo Airways National Cup title in the final match on September 20.

Viettel entered the match without its four key players. However, it actively joined the match and did not break from the pressure posed by Hanoi FC.
Ngoc Son scored for Viettel 30 minutes after halftime, but Truong Van Thai Quy evened the score for Hanoi FC in the 82nd minute of the game.
Just four minutes later, midfielder Quang Hai struck a superb volley, clinching an impressive victory for Hanoi FC.
Hanoi FC became the first team to defend the National Cup in 16 years to stay as National Cup champions.
