A dossier of the complex of Yen Tu monuments and landscapes to be submitted to UNESCO for recognition as the World Cultural Heritage

As planned, the completed dossier will be introduced to the National Council on Cultural Heritage and then be sent to the Prime Minister for approval.

The work will be stepped up in 2021 and 2022. Many experts of the International Council on Monuments and Sites and the International Union for Conservation of Nature of UNESCO will visit Vietnam to appraise the heritage.

After the evaluation, the dossier will be explained and added with more information accordance to expert recommendations and then be officially presented at a meeting of the UNESCO's World Heritage Committee in 2023.

If the dossier would be approved, the Complex of Yen Tu Monuments and Landscapes could become the first World Heritage Site of Vietnam located in three different localities.
