The FIFA World Cup trophy will arrive in Vietnam on January 18 as part of the “FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour” campaign launched by the giant beverage manufacturer, Coca-Cola.  

During the trophy’s three days in Vietnam, Coca-Cola will organise various activities including several interactive games.

Football fans will also have the chance to pose holding the cup for photographs.

The trophy will travel through 86 countries before it is taken to South Africa for the World Cup final in 2010.

The 18-carat gold trophy, firstly awarded in 1974 to West Germany, is 36 cm tall and weighs 6.175 kilos.
