The festival aims to introduce images of the land and culture of local people in Gia Lai province to tourists and friends, thus contributing to honor and uphold the cultural values of ethnic minority groups in the province.

Along beautiful roads, in valleys and on mountains covered by wild yellow sunflowers, visitors can also enjoy various activities featuring the typical culture of local ethnic minorities, such as a gong performance, calligraphy, brocade weaving, statue sculpturing, the making of ethnic musical instruments, and food stalls.

At the opening ceremony, the organizing panel also announced a decision of the “Vietnam Record Organizations – VietKings” on selecting Chu Dang Ya as the top attractive destination of Gia Lai province in 2017.

The festival will run till December 3.

Here are a number of images of the wild sunflower.
