Nhu Quynh is the second Vietnamese artist to have won a special prize from the Republic of Korea’s (RoK) Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) following actor Quoc Tri from the Vietnam Army’s Drama Troupe, who was recently awarded by the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS).
Nhu Quynh was cast in the role of bride Chin Ju’s mother in the 50-episode television series “Golden Bride” produced by the SBS, which is about a RoK family’s trip to Vietnam to look for their daughter-in-law while helping their son overcome his mental problems.
The SBS’s annual awards aim to hounour the best actors and actresses as well as new ones of the year.
