Vietnam wins four first prizes at International Music Contest
Vietnamese contestants won a total of seven prizes, including four first prizes, one second prize, and two third prizes at the International Music Contest in Jakarta, Indonesia from August 7-16, said Prof. Ngo Van Thanh, Director of the Vietnam National Conservatoire.

Vietnamese contestants won a total of seven prizes, including four first prizes, one second prize, and two third prizes at the International Music Contest in Jakarta, Indonesia from August 7-16, said Prof. Ngo Van Thanh, Director of the Vietnam National Conservatoire.
The first four prizes went to Do Hoang Linh Chi, who bagged the title for pianists under 13 years old; Hoang Ho Khanh Van; Nguyen Thien Minh; and Tran Quang Duy who topped the violin contest for under 13 year olds; the 14-17 year olds; and the over-18 group, respectively.
Accordingly, the third International Music Contest in Jakarta drew the participation of 110 contestants from Southeast Asian countries, China, and Japan.
