PANO - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Danish Embassy in Vietnam on December 4th organised a seminar in Hanoi to review the situation of Vietnam’s fine arts and put forwards measures to develop the industry.
Addressing the seminar, Christina Wilson, a Danish fine art expert, said that it was important to create a chance for Vietnamese artists to introduce their products at famous fine art fair, festivals and international fine art museums.
“It was essential to promote education on this field for people from all walks of life,” said Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition and Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association Vi Kien Thanh.
The seminar is part of the project, “Dialogue between cultural managers and policy makers” under the Culture Development Cooperation Program between Vietnam-Denmark in the period of 2011-2015.
