The project, funded by Seagate through CyArk, aimed to enhance the application of science and technology in modern data storage, thus helping the management and preservation of Hue relic sites in the 3D model and promote the UNESCO-recognized World Cultural Heritage sites of Hue to the world.
It was implemented from April to December last year.

The company handed over to the centre both processed and unprocessed data, including 3D models of TuDuc tomb’s relic sites, the models of interior and external decorations with high resolution of An Dinh palace, along with Autocad and PDF drawings of works in the two sites, images of the sites taken from 141 different points, and videos.
By using technology provided by Seagate, CyArk can store, protect and process data in a safe manner, while supporting all storage methods coming later.
In June 2018, CyArk sent its experts to Vietnam to make air and land surveys as well as monitoring in TuDuc tomb and An Dinh palace.
The experts also instructed and transferred technology to officials of the center.
Thanks to the project, the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre can use digitalized data in storing, researching and analyzing activities in a more professional manner, while making full use of technology to introduce the historical, cultural and architectural knowledge to students, tourists and those who are keen on exploring the sites.
