PANO - An exhibition highlighting sculptural works in public areas such as places in front of organizations' headquarters, buildings, parks, .etc is taking place at the Hanoi Museum.

The exhibition showcases 68 outstanding works selected from a sculpture design competition launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the Vietnam Architects' Association. The exhibition is to promote fine arts' role among the public and encourage creativity to bring the arts closer to the community.

The organizers selected 15 excellent ones among them to award. The first prize went to "Nguon song" by Tran Van Nhuoc from Ninh Binh province, while the second and third prizes were respectively handed over to "Canh chim" by Vu Quang Sang and "Trang tri bao tang" by Le Thi To from Hanoi.

The event will run until November 19.
