The information was released by a representative of the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology on September 24, as a result of the survey conducted since July this year.

The evidence was found in Pu Chua cave in Minh Quang commune, and Ngan and Khi caves in Phuc Son commune, Chiem Hoa district. The relics are located on low limestone mountains, close to rivers or streams.

Particularly, the archeological layer is quite thin, only about 0.4 meters.

Archaeologists also discovered a collection of artefacts near the cave’s entrance, including stone axes and ceramics.
