Vietnam will join the ASEM Cultural Festival 2021.

In addition, the event is seen as a chance to popularize the culture of Vietnam and Belgium to the public through photos taken by young photographers from Vietnam and Europe.

Themed “Things That Count,” the exhibition serves as a dialogue about the living values amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic between young photographers from Europe and Vietnam. It also sends a hopeful signal by creating an international network among young photographers and sober reflections on what is considered valuable today.

Moreover, the exhibition will showcase exhibits by photographers from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Antwerp) and Vietnam. The works focus on current important topics in modern society, including family, safety, gender, heritage, humor, intimacy, freedom, power, knowledge, and faith.

As scheduled, the exhibition will take place on November 22-26, 2021 via the virtual format in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and through the website of the ASEM Cultural Festival 2021.
