Delegates and local people at the festival |
Vu Mi Ho, head of San Si Lung hamlet, held that the hamlet is home to 132 households with 827 people, all of whom are of the H’mong ethnic minority group. In order to successfully organize the festival and create a joyful and safe atmosphere, they encouraged locals to spend their free time cleaning up the roads, decorating the hamlet, and hanging national and party flags from the hamlet’s entrance gate to the hamlet’s cultural house.
In the joyful atmosphere of the festival, local people recall the heroic history of the Vietnam Fatherland Front over the past years, review the achievements of the campaign “All people united to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas,” and patriotic movements in 2024. Despite difficulties, local residents have strictly followed the Party’s guidelines, State’s policies and laws, and actively participated in patriotic movements.

Local people participate in the event. |
In response to movements and campaigns to build new-style rural areas, the hamlet has made significant achievements in 2024. They encouraged local people to donate land, expanded roads by 1.2 kilometers, and repaired rural roads with over 560 working days, among others.
After the festival, the hamlet organized a meal with the participation of all households. The Great National Unity Day is not only a joyful festival but also an occasion to show the solidarity within the community.
