Nguyen Thu painter’s works on display
PANO – An exhibition highlighting paintings of painter Nguyen Thu opened on December 10 in Hanoi to celebrate the artist’s 88th birth anniversary.

Under the theme of “Reality and romance,” the ten-day exhibition featured 60 outstanding works selected from a 300-picture collection by the painter. The collection is preserved by Thai Binh Duong (Pacific) Group.
Painter Nguyen Thu is among 15 students of the first course (from 1957 to 1962) of the Vietnam College of Fine Arts (currently Vietnam University of Fine Arts). He held the post of president of the university from 1985 to 1991.
