Since the Nguyen dynasty ended its historical role in 1945, most of the treasures of the dynasty have been moved to Hanoi for security in wartime, according to to a Decree issued by President Ho Chi Minh. This is the first time that Hue has received a large number of the Nguyen dynasty's precious objects.
Also on this occasion, a pictorial book “Royal treasures” and a documentary, entitled “Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities (Volume 8) - specializing in wooden antiques” will be introduced to the public.
