Regiment 726 (Army Corp 16) launched many activities to support children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and presented gifts to students with good academic records in the 2019-2020 school year and children of the unit's troops.

The Hanoi Old Quarter management board held various activities for children on Mid-Autumn festival day at cultural sites in the Old Quarter (Hoan Kiem district). Participating in the events, children and their parents can observe artisans and craftsmen making traditional toys such as star-shaped lanterns, cardboard masks, and paper kites. Visitors can also listen to the artisans’ stories about the meaning and history of the folk toys and games.

The Google homepage features a photo of a warm Mid-Autumn night on October 1 to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2020. The search engine highlighted baked mooncakes, a teapot, a moon, star-shaped and carp lanterns on the homepage as symbols of the Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival.

Children's House of Dong Nai province held a Mid-Autumn Festival on September 30 with many special art performances. The program attracted the participation of about 3,000 teenagers, children and parents. As part of the festivities, the organizing panel presented 100 gifts to needy children in Bien Hoa city.

From September 29 to October 1, FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom) launched a special program at 63 children's playgrounds in cities and provinces across the country. The program included various cultural activities such as lion dances and folk games. On the occasion, FPT Telecom gave 3,000 gifts to needy children in the localities.
