PANO - Hundreds of hand embroidery double-sided paintings by skilled and talented artisans from XQ Vietnam Embroidery Co. Ltd. were introduced to the public on October 29th at the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum, Ha Long city.
The paintings feature Vietnamese landscapes, portraits, countryside and routine activities.

Apart from contemplating paintings which highlight the typical combination of embroidery and painting arts, viewers will have a chance to explore the hand embroidery art under the instruction of artisans.
According to Vo Dinh Hoc, Deputy CEO of the company, this gallery is opened daily to help preserve and honor the traditional hand embroidery which will be later passed on gifted female locals as a way to honor the trade and skilled women as well.
In the evening of October 30th, the company organized a ceremony to start embroidering the biggest hand embroidery double-sided painting of Vietnam. This 0.6mx5.8m painting is expected to finish in 6 months by 10 artisans.
In the time to come, the company is going to build an academy to train hand embroidery artisans for Quang Ninh province.
