Photographer Dao Tien Dat won both gold and silver prizes at the 76th Wilmington International Photo Contest held in the US.
The photo, entitled “Co Lieu” (Alone), netted Dat gold medal from the PSA-Atlantic. In addition, he was presented with PSA’s silver medal for his photo named “Buoc Ngoat 3” (The Third Turning Point). Moreover, Dat was also given a honorary certificate for the photo “Ban” (Friend).
Photographer Dao Tien Dat has won several international and domestic prestigious photo awards, namely, the golden cup for photograher in 2005, a gold medal for the best photographer in Asia in 2006.
From 2004 to 2007, Dat was in the list of the world’s most excellent photographers for black and white photos.
Also at the Wilmington photo contest, photographer Le Hong Linh and photographer Than Nguyen won silver medals for their photos entitled “Sau Chien Tranh” (Post-war) and “Tam” (Taking a Bath), respectively.
