PANO – An exhibition entitled “From Havana to Hanoi: Faces and Landscapes” is under way in Noordeinde street in the Hague, the Netherlands.
The event is organized by ARTANA fine art exhibition organization in conjunction with the embassies of Vietnam and Cuba in the Netherlands. Works by Vietnamese and Cuban painters are showcased at the exhibition that lasts till October 26.
According to the ARTANA’s director, Vietnam and Cuba are far in terms of geography but share many similarities. For both nations, art plays an important role in history and social life.
The Cuban ambassador to the Netherlands appreciated the significance of the exhibition as well as brotherhood of Cuba and Vietnam and hoped to have more exhibitions in the future.
