It featured a variety of popular French-made products such as milk, chocolate, bread, cheese, bacon, fruits and wine, among other items.

Together with attracting a large number of local people and international and domestic visitors, the festival also saw the attendance of many famous restaurants, importers, and brands representing a range of French gastronomy, including Paysan Breton, Métropole, Red Apron, Marou, Saint Honoré, La Table Hanoia, and French fruit and ham suppliers, to name but a few.

Mrs. Chu Hoang Anh from Dong Da district, Hanoi, shared that she and her children came to the festival early in the morning. Along with street foods, they really enjoyed the exciting atmosphere of the music festival at the square. She hoped that there will be more similar food festivals held in Hanoi to promote the cultural exchange between Vietnam and other countries.

Apart from food and music festivals, visitors participated in various games to broaden their knowledge about French culture and people. Also, visitors toured the stall “Coup de Pouce Vietnam” - a French humanitarian association, which is founded and constituted 100% by volunteers. The association aims to support disadvantaged families in Hanoi, especially children.

The French food festival “Balade en France” 2023 concluded successfully, contributing to popularizing French culture, food and art to people in Hanoi and affirming the development of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and France.
