PANO – 47 photos of Agent Orange victims in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, taken by famous British photographer Philip Jones Griffiths, have been on display since November 22nd at the Ho Chi Minh City War Remnants Museum on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Culture Heritage Day.
Griffiths came to Vietnam as a war press photographer in 1966. He published two books, “Agent Orange: Collateral Damage in Vietnam” and “Vietnam at Peace”, which have helped people around the world learn more about severe war consequences in Vietnam.
At the exhibition, the late photographer’s family worked with the Philip Jones Griffiths Foundation to present all the photos to the museum when the exhibition ends on January 10th, 2011.
