As the organizers announced, the session would focus on reviewing the council’s activities in the past, and improving its task performance in the remaining months of the year.

Out of the 93 literary criticism works nominated, including 38 books, 55 articles and radio broadcasting programs, the organizing panel has selected 15 outstanding ones to award 4 A prizes, 7 B prizes and 4 C prizes.

In addition, seven groups would also be honored for their contributions to the development of Vietnam’s art and literary theory and criticism.
