PANO – A seminar titled “Ha Tien heritages – preservation and development” was held on September 24th by Kin Giang Province in association with the Ho Chi Minh City sub-Institute of Vietnamese Culture and Arts under the Vietnam Culture Institute.

Some 50 speeches were presented at the seminar, recalling the 300-year history of formation and development of Ha Tien with both invaluable intangible and tangible cultural heritages.

The typical heritages that drew wide attention were pagodas and temples, Tao dan Chieu Anh Cac (Chieu Anh Literary Coterie Chamber) and tombs of Mac families who reclaimed the land and settled new lives there.

Participants also discussed ways to effectively conserve local cultural heritages.
