25 oil paintings created by Wessel Huisman, a Dutch painter from the Netherlands, will be displayed at the Hanoi Fine Arts University from November 11
th to December 5
th.
Most of the art works are black and white oil paintings reflecting the relationship between architecture and people in Vietnam.
The upcoming event is being organized by the Dutch Embassy and supported by the Netherlands Culture and Development program. In addition to the exhibition, the painter will also hold exchanges with professors and students at the university.
In the meantime two other fine art exhibitions have been launched in Ho Chi Minh City to observe Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. One is being held at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association’s headquarters and will last until November 25. The other was launched in November 15 and will last till November 23rd at the city’s exhibition centre.
