Denmark finances Vietnamese contemporary artists
PANO - Eight projects of Vietnam’s art spaces in Hanoi and Hue will get financial support of USD 50,000 from the Denmark-Vietnam Cultural Development and Exchange Fund (CDEF).
This information was released at a press conference held in Hanoi on March 12 by the Danish Embassy to Vietnam.

The awardees are Hanoi Doclab, Heritage Space, Manzi Art Space, Matca, Nha san Studio, Rec Room, the Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents (TPD), and Then cafe. The artists will then make contemporary art and cultural performances.
The fund is expected to help further popularize their works to local audience and international friends.
Established in 2006, CDEF has recently approved the projects with a view to promoting Vietnamese contemporary artists as well as cultural exchange activities between Denmark and Vietnam.
