The festival, taking place along the Han River in the Central city of Da Nang, will see the participation of eight teams from France, Italy, the U.S., Germany, Poland, China, Finland and the host Vietnam.

Three newcomers from Germany, China and the U.S. are hoped to bring surprise to audiences.
The theme “Made in Unity” sends the message of a world of peace, friendship, humanity, and honors inspiring values in community.
The opening ceremony on the evening of June 8, themed “Made of Unique Culture,” will see the competition of the host Vietnam and DIFF 2023 champion France.

Under the theme “Made of Young Generation,” the closing ceremony will be on July 13. Earlier, there will be competitions between Italy and the U.S. on June 15 themed “Made of Nature Wisdom,” Germany and Poland on June 22, “Made of Love Inspiration,” China and Finland on June 29, “Made of Fairy Tales.”
Each team will display their fireworks shows in 20-22 minutes.
The opening and closing ceremonies will be broadcast live at 20:10 on Channel 1 of the Vietnam Television.

DIFF 2024 is hoped to bring more tourists to the Central city of Da Nang. |
The champion of the festival will receive a USD 20,000 reward. The first runner-up will be awarded USD 10,000. The team most favored by audiences will receive USD 5,000. Each of them will receive a trophy, and a certificate as well.
The 12th edition of the festival this year is expected to attract more tourists to Da Nang, helping the Central city become a “destination of leading events and festivals in Asia.”
