Hanoi City will hold many meaningful cultural activities to celebrate the International Day of Francophones (March 20th), including the Francophone Film Festival from March 22nd to April 30th, and the Cultural Festive Day at the Hanoi University on March 19th with the final round of the Francophone Singing Festival and French songs’ solo performances and so on.
On this occasion, the "Le Courrier du Vietnam" daily newspaper will work with the Vietnam News Agency to set up the “Francophone Space” program, which will be broadcast on Channel V-news in Vietnamese and subtitled in French, to introduce current events, country and people who are members and observer nations of the International Organisation of Francophone. The first program is expected to last 20 minutes.
