The fifth International Kite Festival, taking place in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province from May 8th to 12th, has attracted the registration of more than 150 artisans from 26 foreign countries and territories and 6 Vietnamese teams.

According to the organizer, the festival themed “Peaceful dance” will have many interesting activities, including a kite exhibition, a short training course on making kites in the Vung Tau tourism market, competitions for Rokkaku kites, art kites, musical flute kites, single line kites, and an art kite flying at the Paradise golf course.

Such a festival is seen as a cultural, sports and tourism bridge to strongly link Vietnam and other countries all over the world. This is also a good opportunity for local businesses and localities to introduce their potentials.
