Vietnam-Cambodia solidarity tightened
PANO – A mission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Deputy Minister Dang Dinh Quy, on November 6 visited the Cambodian Embassy in Hanoi on the occasion of Cambodia's 64th National Day (November 9, 1953)
Deputy Foreign Minister Dang Dinh Quy congratulated the Cambodian Government on their achievements in the national construction and development led by Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen and the Cambodian people over the past years and urged the country to successfully organize its general elections in July 2018.
He also underscored the significance of maintaining the neighborliness, solidarity and friendship between the two countries and suggested that Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Prak Nguon Hong pay more attention to popularizing the bilateral ties between the people of the two countries, especially the youth.
For his part, Ambassador Prak Nguon Hong thanked Vietnam for helping Cambodia during its national construction and development. He also pledged to try his best to strengthen connections between people of both countries and affirmed his determination to preserve and promote the Cambodia-Vietnam friendship and solidarity for the benefits of both peoples.
