Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Monument inaugurated
PANO - The Solidarity Front for Development of the Cambodian Motherland, on July 27, held a ceremony to inaugurate a Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Monument in Battambang province of Cambodia.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nhem Valy, Secretary of State of the Cambodia Ministry of Cults and Religion and Acting Secretary General of the Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodian Motherland, emphasized that the Cambodian people always bear in mind the support from the Vietnamese people to help their country escape from the Khmer Rouge genocidal regime.
Vietnamese Defense Attache to Cambodia, Senior Colonel Nguyen Anh Dung, highlighted that the monument was inaugurated on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic relations and the 70th Vietnam Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day, reflecting the traditional solidarity between the two countries and people over the past time.
