The exhibition aims to strengthen understanding among two countries’ people, consolidate and develop the bilateral traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation, as well as to implement effectively the agreements reached at the 38th session of the intergovernmental Committee of Vietnam – Laos, especially in the cooperation plan between the two governments in 2016 and the Vietnam – Laos’ cooperation agreement in 2016-2021 period.
The exhibition also contributes to promoting exchanges in culture, art, sport and tourism; and to boosting economic cooperation, investment promotion and disseminating press activities between the two sides.
Through press publications, the exhibition promotes the country's image and people of Vietnam to Laos’ people and Vietnamese expats in Laos. This is also an opportunity for press agencies to introduce the development of Vietnam’s press, including Spring editions, special New year editions, and good press publications published from January to April of 2016.
The exhibition will last through April 20 at the Vietnamese Cultural Center in Laos.
