PANO - A delegation of Lao press leaders and managers, led by the Deputy Head of the Lao Institute for Information, Culture and Tourism Phuthon Bouttavong, paid a visit to the headquarters of the People's Army Newspaper (PAN) in Hanoi on May 11th.

At the reception, PAN's Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Colonel Ha Manh Tuong, and leaders and representatives from constituent agencies warmly welcomed the delegation. Colonel Tuong briefed Lao delegates on PAN's history during its 66 years of construction and development. He added that the newspaper is one of the leading political newspapers in the country.

For their part, the Lao guests raised many questions to learn more from PAN's experience in editing, printing, and publishing, as well as about reporter training and more.

The two sides hope to further their ties to in the time to come and to enhance the quality of press editions, strengthening the good relationship between the two states, armies and countries.
