Delegates are introduced to the history of Cu Chi tunnels.

During the meeting, the Vietnamese families and Lao and Cambodian students, together with troops of Gia Dinh Regiment under Ho Chi Minh City’s Military Command, offered incense in tribute to fallen soldiers at Ben Duoc Temple, watched documentary film and visited Cu Chi tunnels historical relic site.

Besides, the delegates also took part in an exchange among war veterans of Ho Chi Minh City, Lao and Cambodian students, and troops of Gia Dinh Regiment, and enjoyed an artistic program.

According to Lieutenant General Hoang Van Nghia, the program contributed to promoting the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia traditional relations, giving an opportunity to Lao and Cambodian students to meet with Vietnamese families. Via the program, Lao and Cambodian students were further equipped with knowledge about Vietnamese country, people, culture, history and traditions.
