The Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups has been enlarged with an additional 700 hectares from the Dong Mo farm, according to the Management Board of the site.
Located in Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi, the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture-Tourism Village, now has an area of 1,544 hectares, is a complex of traditional Vietnamese architectures, highlighting unique characteristics of the nation’s culture.
The site, aiming to reflect, maintain and promote Vietnam’s cultural identities of 54 ethnic groups, is expected to be a favourite tourism destination for both domestic and foreign visitors.
The project to build the village was approved by the Government in 1997 and all of the complexes of the project are expected to be competed 2015.
