PANO – The number of foreign arrivals in Vietnam in September roughly reached more than 800,000, down by 9.6 percent compared to last month, but up by 28 percent against the same period last year, announced the General Statistics Office of Vietnam.

More than 7.2 million foreign tourists have come to Vietnam in the first nine months, a 25.7 percent surge year on year, meanwhile the number of domestic tourists reached 48.8 million in this period.

Tourism has earned nearly VND 300 trillion (USD 13.4 billion) of revenue, up by 20.2 percent from the same period last year.
