The two carriers said they have ensured sufficient ground services and flight crews for the holidays.

Meanwhile, the Hanoi Railway Transport JSC said it will add 29 passenger trains and offers 15,172 tickets, including 6,804 sleeper tickets and 8,368 seater tickets.

Eight trains will be added to serve the Hanoi – Vinh route from April 24-28, and another eight for the Vinh – Hanoi route from April 30 – May 1, with 4,652 tickets each way.

Two additional trains will be added for each way, from Hanoi to Da Nang and vice versa, with 844 tickets.

Two will be additionally deployed to serve the Hanoi – Dong Hoi route on April 27 with 788 tickets, while additional three will be launched for Dong Hoi – Hanoi route from April 30 – May 1, with 1,182 tickets.

Similarly, two additional passenger trains will serve the Hanoi – Thanh Hoa route with 906 tickets and three for the Thanh Hoa – Hanoi route with 1,018 tickets.

The company also plans to launch additional 27 trains from Saigon to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon and vice versa from April 26 to May 1, with around 13,000 tickets, of which 17 trains will serve the HCM City – Nha Trang route, each way.

Discounts of 5-7 percent of normal prices will be offered for groups of 20 or more and their tour guides from May 24 to August 12.

Passengers are advised to buy tickets on the company’s websites at www.dsvn.vn, www.vetau.com.vn, at the stations, and agencies.
