PANO - Vietnam Airlines and VietJetAir have announced to open new routes to Japan’s capital city of Tokyo and Singapore.

Accordingly, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will open routes between Hanoi-Haneda and Da Nang-Narita with seven and four flights a week, using Airbus A321, starting from July 1st and 16th, respectively.

These are the airline’s ninth and tenth routes from Vietnam to Japan, raising the number of its routes to 95, including 55 to international destinations.

On this occasion, it will provide cheap round-trip tickets on the new routes for only VND 6.3 and 7.3 million each, departing from July 1st to 15th and from July 16th to December 31st, respectively.

Meanwhile, the budget carrier VietJetAir will offer free tickets for passengers on its new route Ho Chi Minh City-Singapore in five days from now to May 20th, departing between May 23rd and December 31st.

The airline plans to operate 7 flights weekly on the route. The flight will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 08:50am and arrive in Singapore at 11:40am. The return flight will depart from Singapore at 12:40pm (local time) and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 13:30pm.
