Vietnam records additional 100 COVID-19 infections
A total of 100 COVID-19 infections were recorded in Vietnam in the past six hours to 6pm on June 7, including 25 imported cases, according to the Health Ministry.

Among 75 domestically-transmitted cases, 30 was logged in Bac Giang, 23 in Bac Ninh, 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, one in Binh Duong, and one in the Tan Trieu facility of the National Cancer Hospital. Of the total, 72 were detected in concentrated quarantine sites or locked-down areas.
To date, Vietnam has documented 8,983 cases, including 1,581 imported cases.
On June 7, additional 141 patients were given the all-clear, raising the number of recoveries to 3,509. The number of fatalities now stands at 53.
Among patients undergoing treatment in medical establishments, 216 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, 72 twice and 75 thrice.
The ministry called on everyone to follow its 5K regulation, including khau trang (facemask), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distance), khong tu tap (no gathering), and khai bao y te (health declaration), and get vaccinated.
