PANO - At about 8.30am on August 13th, troops from the Cua Dai Border Post of the Quang Nam provincial Border Guard Command successfully towed a distressed fishing ship with all fishermen on board ashore safely.
Previously, the fishing ship numbered QNg-94597TS, owned by Le Ngoc Tin from Tam Thanh commune of Tam Ky city, was stranded on a sand dune due to engine failure at about two nautical miles off Cua Dai Port.
After receiving the information, the border post sent six troops and a canoe to collaborate with nearby fishing ship QNa-90207TS of Tran Cong Tang (from Tam Hoa commune, Nui Thanh district) to tow the troubled ship ashore safely.
