More care for national contributors nationwide
PANO – On July 22, Tran Thanh Man, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC), visited and offered gifts to national contributors in Thanh Xuan commune (Chau Thanh A district, Hau Giang province) and An Hoi ward (Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city).
During the visit, Man expressed deep gratitude to all national contributors and asked local authorities and Party committees to provide better care for policy beneficiaries. He then presented 70 gifts, worth VND 1 million in cash and 10 kilograms of rice each, to them.

* The same day, Senior Lieutenant General Le Chiem, Deputy Defense Minister, handed over gifts and gratitude houses to national contributors’ families in Quang Nam province. General Chiem wished them good health and a stable life, continuing to bring into play their revolutionary traditions and educate younger generations of the traditions. On this occasion, the general and his entourage offered incense to martyrs at the Quang Nam provincial War Cemetery, the Statue of Vietnam Heroic Mothers, and the war cemeteries of Thang Binh, Que Son and Duy Xuyen districts.

* In Da Nang city, the Military Region 5 Command handed over a gratitude house to Pham Duc, a martyr’s son in Hoa Phong commune, Hoa Vang district. The 110sq.m house was built at a total cost of VND 200 million, including VND 70 million from the military region’s staff and 180 construction days donated by troops of Artillery Battalion 75.
* The Youth Volunteer League of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to offer incense and pay homage to 99 martyrs sacrificing themselves for the protection of the Southern borderline at the Memorial for Martyrs of the Youth Volunteer force in Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh province. After the commemoration, delegates visited an exhibition on the traditional history of the city’s youth volunteers.
*Similar events were also held by the Artillery Corps and Military Region 9 with many gifts offered to national contributors the same day.
