MoH launches two platforms that provide nCoV information
The Ministry of Health officially launched a website and app. aimed at spreading information to concerned citizens regarding the recent cases of acute respiratory infections caused by a new strain of the coronavirus (nCoV) on the morning of February 8.
The launch of the webpage (https://ncov.moh.gov.vn/) and information Vietnam Health App aims to help local people gain a better understanding of the disease whilst becoming more knowledgeable about what can be done to prevent the nCoV from spreading further.

These purposes will be met through providing visitors to the webpage and app with guidelines and recommendations from a competent health authority that will allow users to protect themselves and their community.
These platforms will provide accurate and comprehensive information sources for people regarding the epidemic, while medical staff and physicians in the health sector can be proactive in responding to any epidemic scenarios relating to the nCoV.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam Health App. will be the official app. of the Ministry of Health, which is developed by Viettel Business Solutions Corporation.
The App. is available on Android and iOS platforms for both smartphones and tablets. In addition to providing updates on the epidemic, the application can provide a self-assessment guide regarding the nCoV infection, an insight into the risks of the infection, and can also be used to send information to relevant health facilities in case of suspected infection.
