Ho Chi Minh City has always paid close attention to providing both material and spiritual support for the Muslim community, ensuring their development alongside the city’s overall growth, he said.

Mohamed Amine, Secretary of the Board of Representatives of the Muslim Community in Ho Chi Minh City, expressed gratitude for the care and attention given by the city’s leaders and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the local Muslim community. He affirmed that the community would continue its active participation in the movements and campaigns initiated by local authorities and the Vietnam Fatherland Front committees at all levels.

Ramadan, a significant religious occasion for the Cham Muslim community in Ho Chi Minh City and Muslims worldwide, is expected to begin on February 28 or March 1 this year (depending on the moon sighting) and will conclude 30 days later.
