A leader from the National Action Center for Toxic Chemicals and Environmental Treatment hands over the fund to build a gratitude house for an AO victim in Van Ban district.

The visit was part of the activities in celebration the 76th anniversary of the Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27).

During the program, the mission handed over VND 50 billion in support of building a gratitude house and 50 other gifts, worth VND 1.2 million each, to AO victims in Sa Pa town and Van Ban and Bao Yen districts.

On the occasion, they also visited the family of Pham Thanh Xuan, a wounded soldier and a member of local association for AO victims, who is good at doing business in Bao Ha commune, Bao Yen district.

In the working session with leader of Apatit Vietnam Co., Ltd., the mission was briefed on the company’s history, its production, and assistance to the provincial association for AO victims. They learnt that since 2014, the company has supported the provincial association with over VND 230 million and presented more than 900 gifts to AO victims in the province, including 10 gifts this time.

During the visits and gift presentation, leaders of the two organizing agencies highly appreciated the all-out efforts of the local associations and families of AO victims. They hoped that agencies, units, businesses, and benefactors would continue supporting AO victims, especially during the upcoming 62nd anniversary of AO Disaster in Vietnam (August 10, 1961 - 2023), and the action month for AO victims (August 2023).
