Cutting ribbon at the opening ceremony
“The exhibition aimed to promote Vietnam’s image, people and culture, and the achievements in the renewal process and international integration; to raise awareness of Vietnam’s international integration among people, especially Vietnamese businesses and overseas Vietnamese communities; and to facilitate the realizing of Vietnam’s commitments to international economic integration, bringing about more practical benefits,” noted Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao at the opening ceremony.

He also said that Vietnam is currently entering a period of deep and comprehensive international integration. It has diplomatic relations with nearly 200 countries; trade-investment relations with over 220 countries and territories. Vietnam joined the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2007 that has brought the integration process of the country from the regional level such as ASEAN, ASEM and APEC up to the global level. Thus, the Party has always had orientations for domestic and foreign policies according to situations in the country and the world.

The three-day exhibition has drawn hundreds of photos and books featuring the path to international integration of Vietnam with various themes, reflecting the process of Vietnam’s international integration through each stage, and achievements in international integration.
