BIDV to present 24,000 Tet gifts to poor people
PANO - The Joint-Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) on January 5 in Hanoi announced its 2017 Lunar New Year (Tet) program to support the poor.

Such an annual social program, launched in 2009, aims to bring a happy Tet holiday to the poor nationwide.
Addressing the ceremony, BIDV’s Head of Trade Union Le Thi Kim Khuyen said that 24,000 Tet gifts, totally valued at VND 12 billion, will be presented to the poor, flood-hit victims, and troops nationwide.
The bank will send delegations to each locality to deliver gifts to the recipients.
This is the eighth consecutive year that BIDV has carried out such a meaningful program. So far, nearly 600,000 Tet gifts, worth VND 140 billion in total, have been presented to the needy so that they could enjoy a happy Tet.
