Noticeably, the union has proactively raised funds from international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for activities to provide aid for people across the country.
As of the end of December this year, the VUFO, in coordination with localities nationwide and representative offices and project offices of international NGOs, have received 813 international delegations to Vietnam to put forward their programs and projects.
Nearly USD 300 million from international NGOs’ aid is estimated to have been disbursed in 2016.
