It was part of activities to welcome the coming 16th Congress of the Hanoi municipal Party Organization, as well as underlined the capital city’s science-technology development.
The 2.1ha centre, the largest of its kind in the country, is tasked with researching, manufacturing and testing technical products. In addition, its modern facilities will help 200 scientists at the centre connect with their colleagues at other universities and labs nationwide.
They will focus on electronics, automation, information technology and precision mechanics.
Especially, the center will invest in the production of small-sized but high-capacity solar batteries following the national power development plan by 2030.
