PANO – A delegation of foreign military attaches in Vietnam, led by Colonel Siravuth Wongkantee, Head of the Foreign Military Attaches Corps in Vietnam, paid a visit to the Khanh Hoa provincial Military Command on June 25th.
At the reception, Colonel Huynh Kim Le, second-in-command of the Command, briefed the delegation on economic, cultural and social achievements in the locality over the past time and the missions of the provincial armed forces. The two sides exchanged experience on controlling floods and storms, search and rescue work, as well as mobilizing and helping local people to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.
The visit aims to promote solidarity, friendship, mutual understanding and trust between Vietnam People’s Army and foreign armies; and to popularize the image of Vietnam and its people to the world so as to promote national defence cooperation in the new context.
The same day, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to leaders of the provincial People’s Committee.
